North River Boats' tough Rigid Aluminum Inflatable Vessel (RAIV) was first delivered in April 1991 and we remain the industry leader in this arena. Using state-of-the-art computer assisted design, North River RAIV hulls are perfected for maximum economy and ride. Practically unsinkable, these aluminum hulls are surrounded by polyurethane inflatable tubes, or foam / fender collars. This design provides a fast, soft, stable ride in stormy seas, raging rivers, and shallow waters with a planing draft as little as 9" (jet drive only).

Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue missions don’t allow you to take your boat just where you want to go; you go where the mission requires you to go and failure is not an option. Our inboard, aluminum jet boats are some of the most versatile law enforcement platforms available. These vessels are able to patrol lakes, white water rivers, and deltas easily. They have the horsepower to carry a load and can take a hit and still finish the mission. Extremely tough aluminum hull, no outdrive or propeller to disable you if you hit a submerged object, and no chance of a propeller injury for a rescue swimmer, diver, or victim in the water. Commander/trappers are available in sizes from 20’-25’.
